Pair This: Sunsets & Sauvignon Blancs

This video reminded me of the many gorgeous sunsets I’ve seen over the years. Whether I watch the big fiery ball drop into the Gulf of Mexico from a steamy Siesta Key beach in Florida or into the Pacific Ocean from the windy cool shores of Cannon Beach in Oregon, I always relish in the refreshing crispness of a Sauvignon Blanc as the sun dips itself into the horizon along the ocean.

In addition to the fresh, crisp acidity of Sauvignon Blanc, the green apple, melon and grassy aromas and flavors are sublime with the reddish-orange and golden hues of the setting sun; ultimately, resulting in the perfect pairing.
