Pinteresting: Rooty Tooty Fresh n Fruity Cocktails!

This Pinteresting post has nothing to do with wine, but it has everything to do with some of the many joys of summer. One of my personal joys of summer is making my rounds at the numerous local farmer’s markets to discover freshly picked, organic fruits and vegetables at unbeatable prices…and flavors. I love to make fresh Oregon Blackberry Cobbler for my two (okay three including my husband) boys – a cobbler that is usually gone within the first thirty minutes out of the oven. Blueberry pancakes on summer Sunday mornings is a family tradition, and we love Tillamook Vanilla Bean Ice Cream topped with fresh strawberries after dinner while watching the sun set.

So, what’s a gal to do with any leftover blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, cherries or blueberries? Make a cocktail, of course! After all the making and baking, this momma likes to chill out on the patio with either 1) a glass of wine, or 2) a glass of what I call – a Rooty Tooty Fresh n Fruity Cocktail.

Thanks to Pinterest, I’ve created a pin board for all the great fruity cocktail recipes that I’ve come across while surfing the many pins of Pinterest. These refreshing cocktails, including adult popcicles, are perfect on the patio in the mid summer heat.
