New in 2017, and brought to us all by Cellar 503 wine club, Pour Oregon is an incredible chance for wine enthusiasts across the state and beyond to discover and experience hand-crafted wines produced by artisanal, small-production vintners from every corner of the state!  40 Oregon producers will pour a diverse selection of wine – from our state’s signature elegant and earthy Pinot Noirs to Oregon’s lush and supple reds like Tempranillo, Gamay Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon; as well as, vibrant Oregon whites like Viognier, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and dry Riesling.

Cellar 503 is a wine club that solely features small Oregon producers of wine.  Many of the participating wineries have very limited distribution — some may even only be available with a visit to the winery. Exploring and discovering these small production wineries at a single event opens a door to Oregon’s lesser-known, purely passionate producers.  Truly spectacular, this chance to discover the passion behind many of our genuinely unique producers and their veritably exclusive wine is an event that should not be missed.

Mellen Meyer sparkling wines will be featured at the event. Incredible small-batch Oregon bubbles that I just stocked on the shelves at 16Tons in Eugene, Oregon.

Pour Oregon will take place at Castaway Portland, an event center located on the edge of Portland’s Pearl District near the Willamette River, from 2-7 pm.  Admission includes entry to the event, a Riedel® wine glass, and tastes from all 40 wineries. $5 of every ticket goes to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon.  Food will be available for purchase from the Tamale Boy and the super-fabulous Ember & Vine (owned and operated by my great friends, husband and wife team Mary Cressler and Sean Martin of Vindulge.com).  Vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free options will be available.

My friends, Mary Cressler and Sean Martin, owner of the fabulous Ember & Vine will have food a vailable for purchase during the Pour Oregon event.
