McMenamin’s Edgefield ’09 Poor Farm Estate Pinot Gris

McMenamin’s does it again. This time, their 2009 Poor Farm Estate Pinot Gris is going to be a wine enjoyed by me all summer long. With Willamette Valley fruit that came from the Edgefield Estate, this wine is a fruity beauty with hints of pears and honeycrisp apples. Great acidity leaves a zesty and dry finish that would be great with summer foods like salads and seafood.

McMenamin’s funky restaurants and breweries throughout Oregon are not only hip, but their wine and beer is pretty darn good too. This wine was enjoyed during a Local Lunch Gals outing on the patio by the river of their Northbank location in Eugene, Oregon.
