Drink Now: Trust Cellars Rosé of Cabernet Franc 2011

I tried this excellent Rosé while attending one of my favorite summer events in the Willamette Valley – a fabulous rustic yet refined Barn Dinner put on by the Heidi Tunnell Catering Company. Although I’m currently writing a piece on what we ate and drank during this extraordinary Barn Dinner, I couldn’t wait to tell you all about this delightful 2011 Cabernet Franc Rosé from Washington’s Walla Walla winery, Trust Cellars. This delicious wine needs to be popped and poured now through summer.

Watermelon and honeydew melon on the nose lead to similar flavors with great acidity. Smooth and crisp with a palate pleasing very light finish. Perfect for summer…’Trust’ me.
