eBook Review – Pinot Noir: Beginners Guide

101 Publishing has recently released a series of eBooks specially designed for beginner wine drinkers yearning to learn more about a specific varietal.

At just $2.99 though Amazon.com, beginners who are interested in finding out more about their favorite varietal of wine, now have an affordable, interesting and easy-reading option to quickly learn about their favorite type of grape. From well-known varietals like Riesling and Merlots to lesser-known varietals such as Gamay and Melon de Bourgogne, 101 Publishing’s twenty eBooks are each focused on a certain varietal.

Considering I’m very familiar with Pinot Noirs here in the Willamette Valley, the book I chose to read and review was Pinot Noir: Beginners Guide. With just 19 pages total, I was finished reading it in less than 10 minutes. From a brief, yet informative, history and characteristic profile of the Pinot Noir varietal to tips on serving temperatures, stemware and food pairings, this quick read was welcoming, educational and entertaining. Truly written for beginner wine consumers, this eBook comes highly recommended to those who have recently started enjoying Pinot Noir and would like to learn more about the varietal that has captured their hearts and palates.
