Due to be released sometime in the Spring of 2013, the Pfeiffer 2009 Blue Dot Reserve Oregon Pinot Noir is sure to be a big hit with wine enthusiasts – especially for those of us who love Oregon Pinot Noirs.
It’s a beauty in the glass, with it’s deep garnet hues. Super fruity aromas of ripe black cherry and blackberry along with hints of pie spice and rose petal flow onto the palate like a silky wave of red fruits bound by a solid acidic backbone. Full of body and character, yet delicate and elegant, the Pfeiffer’s score again with another outstanding Pinot Noir. Oh, how I love Oregon.
