#WineChat #IPNC

Later in the week, I’ll be sipping Pinot Noir and relishing in cuisine prepared by Chef Sunny Jin of Allison Inn and Spa’s JORY restaurant during a pre-IPNC dinner at the gorgeous Stoller Vineyards.  The 27th Annual International Pinot Noir Celebration (IPNC),  taking place at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, begins on Friday and is a three day food and wine event that focuses on Pinot Noirs from around the world.  The dinner at Stoller is just the beginning of several days filled with outstanding Pinot Noirs and Northwest cuisine, and  I am totally thrilled to be able to have the opportunity to attend such an esteemed and revered event.

Another event I’m delighted to be a part of this week is #WineChat.  In honor of the upcoming IPNC, this Wednesday’s #WineChat (a scheduled weekly wine conversation on Twitter) will focus on Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs.  With a recent invitation to participate in the IPNC #WineChat, host William Allen of Simple Hedonisms will be leading the conversation I’ll be joining in on beginning at 6 pm PST on Wednesday, July 24.  Along with several other wine writers, I’ve received five Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs that we’ll be tasting and discussing during #WineChat:

Wine enthusiasts around the world are encouraged to purchase a bottle of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir and join in on this special #IPNC #WineChat.  After popping the cork on a Pinot Noir, simply go to Twitter.com, and type #WineChat into the Twitter search bar to follow all the tweets from everyone who is participating globally.  Adding the hashtags #WineChat and #IPNC to the end of each Tweet ensures that everyone who is participating will see all of the conversations about this special Pinot Noir-centric event.

In fact, I’ll be using these two hashtags throughout the entire IPNC weekend, so follow me along my adventure as I taste and eat my way through three days of what I think will be a little slice of heaven, right here on earth: IPNC.
