The Archery Summit 2009 Premier Cuvee is the perfect example of why Oregon’s Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs are so highly regarded by critics and wine enthusiasts around the world. It’s down-right delicious and displays all of the characteristics that I love finding in excellent Pinot Noirs.

Blackberry, dark cherry and pie spice aromas embrace the senses while complex fruit-forward flavors of blackberry and blueberry dance on the tongue. Rose petals and earth hit mid-palate with a silky and vibrant mouthfeel. The finish is earthy with a little licorice and spice – exactly the kind of Pinot Noir finish I love.
