In the Glass: Purple Cow Tempranillo ’05

While I’m in the middle of writing twenty or so (no kidding) articles on my awesome adventures of the 2012 Wine Bloggers Conference, I thought I’d mention the wine I’m drinking while writing: Purple Cow Vineyards 2005 Elena’s Edition Tempranillo.

Although the grapes are sourced out of California, Purple Cow Vineyards is located in Forest Grove, Oregon. Four terms easily describe this tasty Tempranillo: plums, chocolate, pie spice and yum.
