Pinteresting: Christmas Drinks From Around the Globe
I recently had a glass of incredibly delicious mulled wine made by the owners of Carlton, Oregon’s lovely collectibles and vintage store: Valley Emporium. It was warmed to perfection with delicious holiday flavors and excellent red wine. On a chilly rainy, Willamette Valley morning, their mulled wine warmed me to the bone.
Once I returned home from my incredible visit to Carlton, Oregon, and the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, the ambrosial Valley Emporium mulled wine was still on my mind, so I decided to search through picture-haven-Pinterest for some holiday cocktail recipes; in particular, mulled wine and hot buttered rum. During my search, I came across a really cool infographic with some delectable looking recipes for Christmas Drinks From Around The Globe. Personally, I can’t wait to try the Candy Cane Eggnog, which I’m thinking will replace traditional Eggnog this year. I also came across several other Christmas or Holiday themed drinks that I thought I’d pass on to my readers – some include wine, some don’t, but they all look and sound delicious! None of which, I’m sure, will be as good as Jeff and Valerie’s mulled wine I had that chilly morning. So, once I receive their recipe (if they’re willing to share!), I will pass along the recipe in an article I’m working on that’s all about my favorite little town in Oregon – Carlton.
Click on any of the pictures below to be directed to the recipes in detail, or visit the pinboard that I created dedicated to recipes for Christmas Cocktails. Cheers, and have a Holly Jolly Chirstmas!
